Pixelated
“Pixelated” is a 36x36” mixed media painting on gallery wrapped canvas. This pixelated geometric piece has liquid metals and leafing.
This piece comes from a moment of excitement in the work, where the process became something to focus into.
Each section was approached individually, built with attention and repetition, allowing pattern to emerge through small, deliberate decisions. There was a sense of control here… not forced, but found… in the rhythm of working through each square.
The variation across the surface reflects that process… differences held within a structure, each part distinct but contributing to the whole.
It was not about resolution…but about the satisfaction of building something piece by piece.
