“Satisfied Frog” is a 12×12”, sculpted mixed media on 1 1/2” cradled wood.
Heavy-lidded resin eyes, a mischievous smile and wonderfully textured skin give this sculpted frog an unmistakable personality. Deep woodland greens, bright chartreuse highlights and touches of warm copper bring out every bump and fold, while glossy resin eyes and accents create a freshly rain-soaked appearance.
He seems quite pleased with himself. What he knows, or thinks he knows…is yours to decide.
Hand-sculpted at my son’s bedside during a prolonged hospitalization, this piece became a creative outlet during an uncertain time. He emerged with humor, attitude and a story of his own.
An original, one-of-a-kind piece, signed by Kerri Ann.
