“Serenity” is a 24×24” mixed media, epoxy resin on 2” cradled wood panel.
This piece is built in layered resin, forming a geode-like structure that draws the eye inward. Each band was poured and shaped over time, creating depth through repetition and controlled movement. Metallic pigments and gold accents follow the natural flow of the form, giving it both structure and fluidity.
At the center, a dark crystalline core anchors the piece… surrounded by subtle shimmer and shifting tones. Smoky quartz points emerge from one side, adding a natural element that feels both grounded and protective.
Serenity is not the absence of complexity.
